Jessy Terrero

Executive Producer/Director/Producer/
Founder, Cinema Giants

Jessy Terrero is a Dominican-American filmmaker, director, and executive producer whose career spans music, film, television, and international storytelling. As one of the most influential music video directors in urban and Latin culture, Terrero has created iconic work for some of the world’s biggest artists, including Jennifer Lopez, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Enrique Iglesias, Daddy Yankee, Maluma, and Bad Bunny, with his music videos amassing more than 21 billion views collectively.

Terrero transitioned into film and television with the cult classic Soul Plane, which marked the feature-film debut of Kevin Hart and also starred Sofia Vergara. His longstanding creative relationship with 50 Cent led to a series of feature films, including Freelancers, starring Robert De Niro and Forest Whitaker, and Gun, starring Val Kilmer.

Drawing on his Dominican heritage and deep roots in music and urban culture, Terrero increasingly focused his directing and producing efforts on Latinx stories and talent. He created and directed the Netflix Original series Nicky Jam: El Ganador, chronicling the life and rise of the internationally acclaimed reggaeton artist. The success of the series led to a blind deal with YouTube Originals, where Terrero developed Bravas, an all-female series set in Puerto Rico.

Through his production company, Cinema Giants, Terrero continues to develop and produce stories for the international market while partnering with major domestic and global platforms and entertainment companies, including Showtime, Apple, Amazon Music Latin, and Monster Music. His work also includes creative collaborations with global Latin artists, including Peso Pluma. Cinema Giants continues its mission to elevate Latino talent across multiple levels of the entertainment industry.

Terrero is currently developing Latino Champs, while continuing to build a slate of projects that bring Latin voices, culture, and talent to global audiences.

With decades of experience working at the intersection of music, culture, and entertainment, Terrero brings a unique understanding of how to connect authentic Latino stories with audiences around the world.
