Oscar Lobo is an award-winning Venezuelan cinematographer, photographer, and filmmaker whose career spans music videos, commercials, documentaries, television, and narrative film. Born in Caracas and now based in Miami, Lobo has built an international body of work across the United States, Latin America, and Europe.
Lobo has photographed and collaborated with some of the biggest names in Latin music and global entertainment, including Marc Anthony, Busta Rhymes, Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Maluma, Ozuna, Wisin & Yandel, Karol G, Becky G, Anitta, Luis Fonsi, Juanes, Rauw Alejandro, Arcángel, Anuel AA, and many others.
His television credits include Kdabra and Familia en Venta for Fox Networks, Infiltrados for Caracol TV, and Top Shottas. His work on the television series La Fuerza de Creer: Dulce Sazón was recognized with an Emmy Award in the Public Service Initiative category.
An experienced cinematographer in both the American and Latin American production systems, Lobo brings a sophisticated understanding of visual storytelling, lighting, composition, and camera technology to every project. His work has taken him into some of the world’s most challenging environments, including the Amazon jungle, the Baja California Peninsula, and the Venezuela-Colombia border.
His creative work has been exhibited and recognized at film festivals and galleries around the world, including participation in the Miami Film Festival. His photography and writing have appeared in publications including Transworld Skateboarding, Concrete Wave, Yogi Times, and Plátanoverde, while his visual art has been exhibited in New York, Maui, Los Angeles, Rome, and Vienna.
